Jonathan Watts-Lay is a founding Director of WEALTH at work, working with a number of the UK’s leading companies to help employees understand their financial benefits.
Jonathan is a recognised commentator on financial matters, particularly with regard to pensions and retirement and is often quoted in the national and trade press and frequently speaks at roundtable and workshop events.
Chris Curry is the Director of the Pensions Policy Institute (PPI) with overall responsibility for leading and managing the Pensions Policy Institute. Chris originally joined the Pensions Policy Institute as Research Director in July 2002 and was responsible for the research programme for eleven years.
At the Pensions Policy Institute Chris has authored and presented a number of research reports analysing pensions (including state, private and public sector pensions), pension reforms and other provision for retirement income. Chris is experienced in presenting research findings to a wide range of audiences and to the media.
Lesley’s role encompasses management of the Group’s UK DB and DC pension and insurance arrangements, co-ordination of global benefit arrangements and management of external service providers.
She is Secretary to the Group Pensions Committee, a Company appointed Trustee for an acquired DB scheme, and sits on the Benefits and Communication Committees of the Trustee Boards. Her role as Head of Pension Projects has included closure of the DB scheme, implementing a multi-national pooling arrangement and compliance with auto-enrolment regulations as well as other legislative and regulatory changes.
Kevin joined BT in 2005 as Group Head of Pensions with responsibility for all aspects of Pension and Benefits policy across the BT Group.
Kevin has worked in the pension, benefits and investment industry all his working life; principally for major UK multinationals in the banking, insurance, industrial and pharmaceutical sectors. Having managed consultancy businesses including trustee companies in both the UK and the US, Kevin brings a wealth of knowledge and experience across the spectrum of pension and HR issues, both in the UK and overseas covering pension and benefit strategy, design, administration and investment.
Recently, Kevin has undertaken a review of BT’s UK pension schemes leading to a major engagement process with employees from pension consultation through to implementation and beyond.
Paul Morton is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments and has over 25 years’ experience working in the Financial Services industry.
He is responsible for all individual client facing activities delivered through a team of authorised advisers and a client service team who between them deal with all client advice requests.
Rene retired after a 30 year career with JP Morgan in September 2012. He is an Independent Director of the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) and Chair of the Remuneration Committee, Chair of the JP Morgan UK Pension Plan, Chair of the Standard Life Independent Governance Committee, Director of the Standard Life Master Trust and, Chair of the Advisory Committees of Five Arrows Credit Solutions and Five Arrows Direct Lending.
